The goalkeeper training takes place at the sports facility of SG Benrath-Hassels 1910/12 e.V. instead of. This is also the home facility of SG Benrath-Hassels 1910/12 e.V. and is located in Düsseldorf - Hassels Am Wald 130 in 40599 Düsseldorf.
My goalkeeper training is divided into different age groups so that the training takes place in performance-homogeneous groups and a balanced development is guaranteed. The age group division of the German Football Association applies. The age of the goalkeepers is between nine and nineteen years. In the next section you will find more information about my age and development-specific goalkeeper training program.
When they are younger, everyone agrees that in principle there is no specialization in the goalkeeper position. The focus is on extensive and varied coordinative-technical training.
While specialization does not play a role in the younger age groups, this changes when entering the "golden age of learning". Children who are interested in the position of goalkeeper from now on should and may be trained in a specific position. This level of development is ideally suited to train the comprehensive and diverse training of goalkeeper techniques, coordination skills and two-footed ball control.
The goalkeeping techniques are the basis and that is why learning, improving and stabilizing all goalkeeping techniques remains the primary goal of my goalkeeping training. In addition, the development of coordination skills, goalkeeping techniques and their situational application are on the schedule in the development area.
The last phase of training in youth football. The focus is on specialization. The required goalkeeper techniques in the goalkeeper training exercises are perfected through many repetitions. We work intensively but appropriately, because exercises here can also take place in adult goalkeeper training. All elements of goalkeeper techniques are automated and those who don't have them can teach them in this age group. Goalkeepers are also actively involved in the training process. And now comes the most important thing of all, we work together in groups to establish a direct relationship between the goalkeeper training exercises and the real requirements of the game. All this should create a high position-specific
performance for the future.
